Bulbous Nose
A bulbous nasal tip refers to the tip of the nose that is too rounded or wide in relation to the remainder of the nose.

The Bulbous, rounded nasal tip involves cartilage grafting of the nose. While grafting the cartilage is taken from the patient’s ear or rib, it is placed in the nose for added support for reshaping of the nose. A segment of cartilage is placed under the lateral portion of the lower lateral cartilage to reshape the nasal tip region. A linear, stiff cartilage graft is placed on the undersurface of the lateral crus and sutured on the patient’s own cartilage. This gives a straight contour to the nasal tip which was previously rounded.
