Invisalign is a removable, clear orthodontic appliance which is used to align the teeth instead of wire braces.

Invisalign treats:
• Overly crowed teeth
• Widely spread teeth
• Cross bite
• Biting irregularities
• Over bite

Upon visiting the dentist, upper and lower impressions of the teeth will be taken in order to create an Invisalign. These aligners are made of a smooth, comfortable, BPA-free plastic that won't irritate the cheeks and gums like traditional metal braces. It will take about a year to complete the treatment. It can be removed before eating food and brushing the teeth.

Once the invisalign is ready, it is placed over the teeth. The aligners will gradually cause the teeth to slightly shift their position after approximately two weeks. These aligners are changed every fortnight to allow the teeth to move a little more. As the treatment progresses over the following weeks and months, the teeth will straighten into their proper positions, as prescribed by the dentist.
