Colorectal Cancer Clinic
The Colorectal Cancer Clinic, established and opened together with new severance hospital within the Gastroenterology Center on May 04 of 2005, is a specialized clinic for patients of colorectal and rectal cancers.
Since professors from the Division of Gastroenterology, Division of Surgery, Department of Oncology and Department of Radiation Oncology get together and perform medical examination and treatment within the Colorectal Cancer Clinic, the one-stop and one-place medical treatment is made possible from diagnosis to operation and secondary treatment upon a surgical operation.
As colorectal cancer clinic coordinators faithfully play a bridging role between patients and medical staffs, patients of colorectal and rectal cancers can have necessary medical services quickly and conveniently, enabling patients to have best medical services. Also, this clinic operates the ostomy wound clinic so that patients can always get the ostomy related servies by specialized nurses.
Additionally, it performs the genetic counseling and testing for patients of genetic colorectal cancer.
