Department of Allergy provides world-class treatment for various allergic diseases including asthma, rhinitis, chronic cough, urticaria, skin allergy, allergic reaction to medicine, and eosinophilia. The department has three doctors with experienced test technicians providing differentiated and specialized patient care.
The department provides a wide range of allergy tests for accurate diagnosis, including a methacholine bronchial provocation test, a capsaicin bronchial provocation test, an exercise challenge test, an aspirin challenge test, a drug challenge test, an induced sputum test, a nasal endoscopy, and a skin test.
In treating patients, the department uses the latest methods including subcutaneous and sublingual immunotherapy and anti-lgE immunotherapy to provide the best treatment possible for our patients.
The department also operates the Asthma Center, which provides specialized treatment for asthma, rhinitis, and chronic cough. The Asthma Center offers patient education programs as well as medication treatments, to provide comprehensive patient care for respiratory diseases.
In addition, the Department of Allergy is actively engaged in government-led research and clinical trial projects and producing successful outcomes.
