Cohesive Gel
What is Cohesive Gel?
Cohesive Gel is a totally different shape implant in structure from the silicone gel or the industrial silicon that had been problematic in the past. For liquid silicon, it was prohibited for use due to its side effects of leaking into the body when the shape maintaining container bag is torn, but these days, safer implants are available to use.
Even when there is rupture of the implant surrounding wall due to post-operation abrasion over the long time, the cohesive gel does not leak into the body but maintain its shape because of its good cohesion capacity. It is the same in principle, the jelly maintains its shape in an upright position when placed on the table out of its container.
The Advantages of Cohesive Gel
In breast augmentation the inserting of implants, the visible external shape is the most important factor. However, the matter as important as the shape is how the procedure is done. When the surgical procedures are performed using the existing many kinds of saline bag but when there is almost no volume of breast, in many cases, the difference between the feeling of natural breast and the post-operation breast are quite noticeable.
Since the fill does not shift from one area of the shell to the other, shell collapse and folds do not seem to occur.
In case of sagging breast or reduced breast in volume, by replacing the older one with the cohesive gel through reoperation. The cohesive gel (silicone gel) rather than the saline implant will enable to acquire dramatic results of not only post-operational natural look.
