Battered Sole is primarily located in Sinchon, where their main concentration is fish and chips.  At Itaewon, they have opened a “Gastropub” specializing in classic British food and beer, single malt whisky, wine and fresh fruit cocktails.

  • Spicy Duck Buffalo Wings
  • Buttermilk Fried Chicken
  • “Taste of Britain” Chips Board
  • Duck Breast
  • Chicken Pot Pie
  • Lemon Baked Salmon
  • Burger, Fish and Chips
  • Smoked Salmon Salad
  • Strawberry milkshake, Ice cream float, Dirty Lemonade, Gin Fruit Cup

The fish and chips of the gastropub is a special preparation; the battered Pollack is very tasty, the fish is fresh and the batter is light and crisp; this is served with triple cooked chips and real malt vinegar, which is a genuine English affair. The duck breast is a dish which is often not seen in the menus of Korea, accompanied with red wine reduction gravy.

The home-made cocktails are another attraction of the gastropub. The “Dirty Lemonade” and watermelon flavoured “Pink Jaime” are probably everyone’s favorite.
