Chemotherapy Skin Care Center

The Skin Cancer/Chemotherapy Skin Care Center is in charge of the examination and treatment of all skin problems that develop in patients who are undergoing treatment for cancer as well as state-of-the-art examination and treatment of skin cancer and disorders that can progress into skin cancer (pre-skin cancer symptoms).

With the quick aging of society, the incidence of skin cancer, which is a disorder frequently found among the elderly, has increased dramatically and is expected to continue to increase in the future as well.

The center provides state-of-the-art examination and treatment specialized for skin cancer and pre-cancer symptoms.

In addition, the center is the only cancer hospital in Korea to have a Department of Dermatology, thus providing professional examination and treatment of skin problems that often occur during chemotherapy.

When dermatological side effects occur due to anti-cancer drugs, prompt cooperative consultation on the day of the visit to the hospital is possible, and assistance is provided to make possible continued and comfortable chemotherapy through the prompt control of dermatological side effects.

The center provides specialized and effective ways of controlling all skin problems that develop during cancer treatment such as xerosis, pigmentation, and hair loss, thus working to improve patients’ quality of life.
