Seoul National University Hospital was established in 1885 as Korea 's first national hospital under the name of Kwang Hye Won.
Awards and Achievements: In 2012 it acquired international accreditation for Human Research Protection Program from AAHRPP. And in the year 2005 they were Ranked 1st in medical institute evaluation by Ministry of Health and Welfare, and simultaneously it was designated as the most outstanding emergency medical center in Seoul in the medical institute evaluation by Ministry of Health and Welfare.
Medical Staffs: The hospital runs with 1340 skilled Medical doctors, 1800 nurses, and 100 Pharmacists and 590 Medical Technologists.
Infrastructure: The hospital is comprised of the Main Hospital, the Children's Hospital, the Cancer Hospital, the Dental Hospital, and the Clinical Research Institute. Over 1,700 general hospital beds, 82 I.C.U beds and approximately 2,000 inpatients and 8,000 outpatients are treated every day.
